United Restoration: The Leader in COVID-19 Cleaning and Disinfection Services

    CDC & EPA-Registered Disinfectant Chemicals

United Restoration Biohazard Responders are equipped with EPA & CDC-registered viral disinfectants. Our chemicals provide broad spectrum kill claims to eliminate Human Coronavirus in both the air and on surfaces.

    ULV Fogging

United Restoration's Biohazard Responders use Ultra Low Volume (ULV) fogging machines during Coronavirus cleaning. Disinfectant chemicals are atomized into liquid droplets by large volumes of air at low pressure that are dispersed into the atmosphere.

Forensic Wipe Down - High Touch Point Surfaces

United Restoration's Biohazard Responders address all high touch point surfaces under the Hospital Grade Forensic Disinfection service. High touch point surfaces include door handles, office and industrial machinery, communal appliances, and more.

ATP Testing to Measure the Effectiveness of Disinfection

We are one of the only companies in Florida that verifies the effectiveness of COVID-19 disinfection procedures through Adenosine Triphosphate (ATP) surface testing—at no additional cost. Our Biohazard Responders use Hygiena Ensure Luminometers in conjunction with UltraSnap ATP swabs to measure the amount of ATP—the energy molecule of all living organisms—in samples from cleaned surfaces, thereby providing an objective indication of cleaning effectiveness and adequate removal of biological materials. While ATP systems do not directly detect viruses, COVID-19 infected materials that contain biological residues will be detected by an ATP system. Our cleaning verification process provides a measurement of cleanliness in as little as 10 seconds.
The Coronavirus, technically named SARS-CoV-2, remains infectious outside of a host from two hours up to 9 days. Other tests have found the virus to remain infectious for up to three hours in the air, and two to three days on plastic and steel surfaces.

As Florida’s leading EPA-certified disaster and biohazard remediation firm, United Restoration is dedicated to providing our priority clients with rapid emergency response, 24/7. United Restoration adheres to all OSHA regulations, is a certified EPA and IICRC firm, and follows the most state-of-the-art procedures when it comes to disease and virus cleanup and disinfecting.
United Restoration is part of the "Emergency Services Sector" within the Hazardous Materials category. Per federal guidelines, this sector specifically identifies "workers who conduct a range of operations and services that are essential to critical infrastructure viability" including "workers who support hazardous materials response and cleanup." Process: Overview of Our 4 Step Workflow

    RESPOND
United Restoration will respond by organizing the Emergency Biohazard Response Team and collecting preliminary information regarding the project. This stage will include opening a project file so that our team can properly document and upload information to United Restoration’s cloud once we arrive to the affected location. Additionally, United Restoration will obtain the preliminary information in order to deploy the resources needed to begin remediation in a timely manner.
    ASSESS
Upon arriving to the scene, the Field Supervisor will work with you in order to assess the site. At this stage, the Field Supervisor will assess any and all safety concerns and begin mitigation protocols to minimize further spread or cross-contamination.
    SANITIZE
United Restoration’s Emergency Biohazard Response Team will begin the sanitization process by air fogging a virucide solution that is EPA-registered to kill Human Coronavirus. Air fogging disinfects and kills Human Coronavirus both on surfaces and in the air. Our team will then perform a wipe down with the virucide solution for customers who ordered Hospital Grade Forensic Disinfection. This will include a thorough wipe down of all surfaces and furniture (drawers, door handles, phones, etc.).
    DRYING
Once United Restoration has performed the sanitization, the site should be left uninhabited for 2-3 hours to allow for proper drying. At this point, it will be safe for humans and animals to return to the property.

FAQ: Coronavirus Cleaning, Disinfecting & Fogging

1What is the time frame if we need this done as soon as possible?
We ask you to provide at least one (1) day’s notice, however, it is likely we are able to facilitate a cleaning job the same-day or evening.
2Can employees return to work the following day?
Yes. However, we require your property to be vacant at a minimum 2-3 hours after a fogging and / or wipe down application. It is completely safe to return to your property the following morning.
3Is COVID-19 fogging and cleaning safe for my pets?
Yes. The timeframe for pets to return to your property after COVID-19 air fogging and cleaning is the same for human beings. We require your property be vacant 2-3 hours before your pets return.
4What disinfectants does United Restoration use?
United Restoration Biohazard Responders use Fiberlock's Shockwave concentrate and Nutra-Max disinfectant, both EPA-registered to kill Human Coronavirus.
5Does the disinfectant cause any residual odors?
The disinfectants used during Air Fogging and Wipe Down leaves a temporary residual odor that can be best described as 'fresh linen', similar to common household multi-purpose cleaners. After 2 hours, the odor should subside.
6Does the cleaning continue to prevent Coronavirus?
There is currently no EPA-registered disinfectant with a continuous kill claim. The cleaning service kills the existing presence of human coronavirus. If an infected person(s) enters or re-enters the environment, there is a chance that the environment will be recontaminated. Nevertheless, United Restoration provides proactive weekly or bi-weekly cleaning for at-risk or high traffic environments to minimize the chance of viral spread.
