Why United Restoration is a Leader in Emergency Water Damage Restoration
United Restoration uses Xactimate to produce estimates for water mitigation, mold remediation, and fire/smoke damage restoration, the most widely used estimating program in the insurance industry.
We’ve successfully managed disasters as large as a 300,000 square-foot 20-story courthouse that sustained water damage after Hurricane Irma, as well as an entire surgical center that flooded from a burst pipe. From homes in Miami & Fort Lauderdale, to commercial properties throughout South Florida, there’s no job too big, or too small. We have seen it all.
As one of the most reliable, trustworthy, and highly-trained restoration companies for water extraction in South Florida, United Restoration’s clientele include:

Our Process: From Evaluation, Restoration, Insurance
We know how you’re feeling right now. You’re anxious, wondering who to trust, how much this will cost, and how soon your property can be restored.
United Restoration restores not just your home, but peace of mind, through expedient emergency response & evaluations, transparent estimations, working directly with your insurance company, and quality restoration. United Restoration carries a $5M policy insuring our work before even stepping into your property.
1. Work Authorization
Before we can begin placing machines, equipment, and containment in the property to mitigate the the property owner to perform our services on the property, as well as authorization to communicate with your insurance company for purposes of having payment directed to us if you are making an insurance claim.
2. Damage Assessment
Once the property owner has signed our work authorization, we will begin by taking photographs of the property, and employing a range of tests to assess the source of the damage. Once our assessment is complete, we will develop a plan of action to mitigate further damage. This includes assessing any safety hazards and mitigating those risks, as well as isolating damaged areas with containment.
After we’ve assessed the damage, we will begin mitigating and restoring the property as quickly as possible to avoid further damage. This may include removing drywall and affected flooring, when necessary, and setting up state-of-the-art restoration equipment to remediate the property. We will be visiting the property regularly to record moisture levels, perform moisture mapping, and ensure that the the restoration process is going according to plan.
Because of the emergency nature of the services, at this time we are unable to provide you with a detailed, written estimate of the services to be performed. Rest assured, we use Xactimate - the industry standard software - to produce estimates for water mitigation, mold remediation, and fire/smoke damage restoration.
